Two Rivers is committed to our neighbors and neighborhoods.

Two Rivers Financial Group is not only committed to providing excellent customer service and expertise in banking, investments, and insurance. We are also extremely passionate about volunteering and investing in all of the communities we serve. Two Rivers employees give their time to churches, schools, nonprofit organizations, and development-oriented community organizations.

In 2017, our people invested over 7,100 volunteer hours with more than 200 neighborhood organizations in their respective communities.

Two Rivers contributed approximately $350,000 through 160 local non-profit and community organizations in the areas of arts and culture, community and economic development, education and facilities, human services, and deserving individuals.

Some of those served included: Shop with a Cop, Meals on Wheels, Safe Banking for Seniors, and the Boys & Girls Club of Iowa. Senior Branch Manager, Linda Springsteen, said, “We live in Southeast Iowa and it is important to show that it is a great place to live and work. Helping others to better themselves and our community is what life is all about.”

At Two Rivers, we find it gratifying to help those around us. Our donations sponsored fundraisers, helped build homes, and provided local libraries and education foundations with much needed support. The health and well-being of our community is at the heart of everything we do at Two Rivers.

I absolutely love my job. I love the staff that I work with, my teammates.

I love my job at Two Rivers because they take really good care of their employees. It’s a fun environment to work in and it just feels like a big family.

Speaker 3:  

I’m gonna talk about this word “community.” Two Rivers is focusing on this community feel. Community, to Two Rivers, means being a part of a team. That’s part of why I love working at Two Rivers.

Speaker 4:      

One of the things that makes my job one of the best jobs I’ve ever had is that management wants to always do the right thing.

Speaker 1:          

I’m always told, “Thank you.” I am often told that, “You’ve done a great job today.”

Speaker 2:          

Helping my customers with their first car purchase, or a motorcycle that they’ve been saving for, that’s really rewarding.

Speaker 4:       

The Operation: Transformation was a wellness program. They encouraged me to get healthy and allowed me to attend the classes during my normal business day.

Speaker 3:          

I love that they have community events to participate in, like the Rock Around the Block.

Speaker 2:   

We gave presentations to younger kids, educated them on banking. Rebuild Iowa Project, went out there and helped a neighbor around his home. We painted the fence and cleaned up some of the leaves around the house, and just helped a good neighbor out.

Speaker 3:        

These community events are a great way to get to know your customers on a more intimate level.

Speaker 1:    

We have a couple different things that we do to encourage morale. Every year we have had a cookout and we have a bags tournament. We also, at Halloween, have a costume party at work. We usually dress up as a team.

Speaker 4:          

Someone who would be a great candidate to work at Two Rivers would be somebody who would want to be a part of a team.

Speaker 3:         

At the end of the day, they want to go home and they want to feel good about what they’ve done that day and that they’ve made a difference in people’s lives.

I believe Two Rivers is a great place to work because they really care about their employees.

Working at Two Rivers makes me feel proud.

I’m at a great place, not only for my career, but a place where I’m with good people.
