Can you please explain your current role?

My current role is Commercial Lending and Support.

Leading up to your current job, what other experience do you have related to the banking industry? In what year did you begin your banking career?

I entered the profession in 1973 after graduation from college. I began as an officer trainee. I progressed to VP/Commercial Lending and Admin. I transferred to an affiliate in 1979 as Executive Vice President, then transferred to another affiliate as President. I subsequently transferred to an affiliate, Burlington Bank & Trust (now known as Two Rivers Bank & Trust) in 1985, where I have served in a variety of roles since.

Do you have any special certificates / awards or designations?

I have received several awards and recognitions over the years for both professional and community service.

Please highlight your community involvement.

I currently serve as a director and officer of both the Burlington Area Homeless Shelter and the Alcohol and Drug Dependency Services of Southeast, Iowa. Currently, I serve on the Great River Hospice Citizens Advisory Board and serve as chairman of the Southeast Iowa Regional Planning Commission Revolving Loan Fund Board. In addition, I serve as president of the Carthage Lake Club.  In the past I have served as an officer and/or board member of several other community organizations including the Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Partners and Rotary.

What do you enjoy most about your role at Two Rivers Bank & Trust?

I enjoy being part of a team dedicated to building Two Rivers Financial Group through service to our communities and customers.

What does being a good neighbor mean to you?

It means being there for our customers and employees by lending a helping hand and doing the right thing whenever possible.
