Ankeny Branch Manager
What year did you begin your career at Two Rivers Bank & Trust?
Can you please explain your current role?
My role is to ensure that our customers have the best experience possible, especially since there is so much competition out there. It’s also imperative that I ensure my staff feels valued and appreciated. They are the face of the bank and on the front-lines, so I want to make sure that they are taken care of so they can continue to grow and develop their careers and themselves within Two Rivers Bank & Trust, and help create a positive experience for our customers.
Leading up to your current job, what other experience do you have related to the banking industry?
I started my banking career in 2015, as a full-time teller, at a local bank. I continued to grow and develop my career there over the next 2-years and transitioned to another Financial Institution as an Assistant Branch Manager. After a year of developing my managerial skills, I transitioned to a role as a Branch Manager, with a different Financial Institution, which is where I was before starting with Two Rivers Bank & Trust.
Where did you grow up?
Do you have any special certificates / awards or designations?
I have a BA in Psychology and Sociology, with a Criminal Justice Minor from Simpson College.
Please highlight your community involvement.
I am still working on getting involved with the Ankeny Chamber of Commerce and Ankeny Young Professionals. I was previously a Waukee Chamber of Commerce Ambassador, and committee member for the Waukee Young Professionals. It’s my goal to transition to similar roles within the Ankeny Chamber!
What do you enjoy most about your role at Two Rivers Bank & Trust?
I am excited to be in Ankeny and continue to help grow deposits and relationships! I’ve lived in Ankeny for over 3 years now, so I am excited to put my hard-work and passion into the community I live in and working for Two Rivers Bank & Trust will help me do that, since we are so community driven!
What does being a good neighbor mean to you?
Being a good neighbor means being there in a time of need- someone who is helpful, dependable, trustworthy and approachable.
