Can you please explain your current role?
My current role is as a Retail Loan Officer. My daily job includes working with customers on their residential and consumer loans.
Leading up to your current job, what other experience do you have related to the banking industry? In what year did you begin your banking career?
I started my career in banking in 2015. Prior to working with Two Rivers Bank & Trust, I had been a Real Estate Agent and Broker since 2008. As a Realtor, I worked hand-in-hand daily with loan officers to assist our mutual clients in making their home buying experience a smooth and enjoyable transaction. During that time, I became very familiar with the multitude of loan products, guidelines to those loans and the loan process from application to closing. I am also a 2016 graduate of Iowa Bankers Consumer Credit School.
Please highlight your community involvement:
I am involved with New London Lions, New London Dollars for Scholars, Henry County Representative on the Southeast Iowa Regional Housing Authority board, and Mt. Union TTT-Chapter U.
What do you enjoy most about your role at Two Rivers Bank & Trust?
My children are the 4th generation of my family to attend New London Community Schools. I enjoy being in a position where I can work with people in and around our community. Having lived in Henry County my entire life, I am very passionate about making our community and county a place where people are excited to live and work.
What does being a good neighbor mean to you?
A good neighbor is one who helps others in good times and bad. When people support each other we all benefit as a community.
