What To Do If You Lose Your Debit Or Credit Card

Realizing you’ve misplaced your debit card can send you into a world of shock, but with Two Rivers Bank & Trust, you don’t have to worry – we’ve got your back! We make turning off your card easy. So easy, you’ll be able to do so in a matter of minutes. Here’s what you need to know.

Turn off your card

Once you report the loss of your ATM or debit card, federal law says you cannot be held liable for unauthorized transfers that occur after that time. Immediately turn off your MasterCard® Debit Card by logging into your Two Rivers Bank & Trust online banking account and selecting “Card Management.” If you’re using your mobile app, login like normal and then select “Manage Cards” from the menu options.

Don’t have access to your online account? Give us a call at 888-226-6063 during our normal banking hours. If you have reported your card lost or stolen after hours please give us a call back the next business day to confirm your card is turned off.

If your Visa® Credit Card is lost or stolen, call 1-800-883-0131 at any time of the day. This number is available 24/7.

Order a replacement card

During our phone call we can arrange to have an emergency replacement card shipped to you within one to three business days.

Check your homeowner’s or renter’s insurance policy

Does your policy cover your liability for card thefts? If not, give your insurance company a call! Some companies will let you change your policy to include it. If you currently hold a homeowner’s or renter’s insurance policy with our neighbors at Two Rivers Insurance Services, you can contact them here.

Enroll in Two Rivers Bank & Trust automated notification service

As your trusted neighbor, we’ll alert you when abnormal activity is detected on your MasterCard® Debit Card. When an unusual spending pattern is identified, a customer service representative will contact you. Once your identity is confirmed, you will be prompted to confirm whether the reported transactions are legitimate or suspect.
